Urban Center Reconstruction Strategies: A Case Study

Abstract

The present study explores the main features of the city's environment and its center’s characteristics aiming to provide sustainable strategies for reconstruction and improvement purposes. We used descriptive analytical methods to collect data from the case study area and created GIS maps of the city structure. Data analysis included relevant variables to determine the most important challenges facing urban development. The suggested strategy to improve the city's current situation includes specific recommendations for further redistribution and rehabilitation of urban areas based on the findings.
